You know Lady Gaga, don’t you?
Do you think her act is all the way original?
No, not at all.
She got the idea from watching others before her.
She also listened when she was in her college Sociology class.
She learned what people wanted. To stand for something they could believe in, to give hope, to be different.
But, you are already different.
Your DNA strand is unique, all your own.
That’s how you were made.
And today, with all the choices available, there’s plenty of jobs.
There’s one business/job/career that would ignite you more than any of those j-o-b-s.
But you have to listen to yourself first.
And not discount the things that your intuition brings up to you.
What you feel in your senses. The insights that flash in your mind. Finding and following where your joy leads.
Practicing and perfecting that talent and gift takes hours and hours and hours of work. It takes time just like it took The Beatles. Just like it did Stephen King.
But you have to know where to start.
Have the vision.
That’s how you find your talents and gifts.
Would anyone tell Lady Gaga she’s a fake and not worth the millions she’s made?
Heck no! She worked hard playing for years until she saw how to make it work.
You can make it work too if you want it bad enough.
But first you will have to ask this question:
What do I want?
And this one:
What will having that get me?
And this is what you are working towards. The answers are your motivation.
The Truth About Finding Your Life Purpose
Stepping into your life purpose is hard work. You can’t just go from job to race car driver in one day.
You have to practice and analyze how others make it work. You have to do the time of working in the field before getting to the end goal. You have to know whether you can make it at your job until you can get there.
And you have to work at building a business if that is your desire.
And that takes time.
So what’s the takeaway?
Never, ever give up on your dream.
Never, ever doubt the vision you see for yourself… for your family.
All you have to do is know where you want to go. Find your life path, the one that would make you the happiest and provide for yourself and family.
Then start working towards it.
Yes, it may take awhile, but stay on track by always putting the outcome in your mind, surround yourself with it, and it’ll happen sooner than you think…
…and it’s an investment in yourself and your future. Nothing is certain in these times.
For all that I’ve learned on the journey, having faith in God has proven to get me through even the toughest of times. And growing to appreciate the journey, all the people along the way, all the learning, the memories…
…this is your story, right?
So I leave you with this question:
What do you want?
